Minecraft Dungeons II guide

Three announced talisman slots

Updated September 7, 2026 · Based on announced systems and publisher previews · Releases September 29, 2026

The June Xbox Wire hands-on describes three talisman slots. Talismans provide passive bonuses, so use each slot to support the job your loadout is trying to do rather than expecting a published best-three list.

In the writer's June demo, a bone talisman summoned a dog companion — a good picture of what a passive effect can do, not a promised early find or a permanent launch setup.

Start with the three announced slots

Three talisman slots are described in the June hands-on, and the preview inventory on this page shows three talisman spaces. Think of them as passive-bonus choices alongside armor and enchantment effects.

Use the dog talisman as an example

In the publisher's demo, a bone talisman summoned a dog companion. Use the example to understand the kind of passive effect talismans can provide; it does not tell you when that talisman appears, how often it works, or which three talismans should be equipped.

Give each slot a purpose

Start with the job your build needs most: staying active, helping damage, or supporting a party effect. Keep a talisman when its passive bonus supports that job. Change it when the job changes or another passive clearly fills a gap better.

Three passive slots can each support the same overall plan.
